Cabin was warm and close enough to the toilets to be reasonable - the possum was a great hit and just wanted more attention. Cheeky pos!

There are so many activities to experience during a Jiindabyne summer. Hiking is boundless, mountain biking is breath-taking, there are multiple craft breweries to visit and so many swimming spots along the lakefront. Hiring kayaks and fishing equipment is also possible but we ran out of time!!

I recommend staying at Jindabyne for the summer and winter seasons. The drive to Thredbo is a quick drive. The roads are cleared in snow season, we didn’t need to use the chains. Parking is easy and there’s free busses to the ski lifts. No need to stay in Thredbo. Jindabyne is much cheaper and has restaurants and the supermarket. I would never stay in Thredbo again. The supermarket is tiny and expensive in Thredbo. We stayed on the lake in a cabin which was perfect. We go for mountain biking in the summer and snowboarding in winter.

Jindabyne is a nice and quiet place to have a short break during the summer. The lake is good for water activities, and being positioned at the foot of the mountains means day trips to Thredbo and Perisher/Charlotte Pass is an easy run. There are plenty of places still open to eat and a full supermarket for any other needs. There are also other activities going on in Jindabyne and the Snowy Mountains through the summer, so google to see what's on and when.

Jindabyne is like a poor cousin toQueenstown NZ.
Jindabyne is like a poor cousin toQueenstown NZ. Nothing much happens off-season, but it is picturesque and a great jumping off point to Kosciouszko National Park. There's a little coffee shop, Jindabyne F2, very good hot chocolate. But the brasserie at Banjo Patterson on the main drag was disappointing. And the carpark at Nugget's Crossing Shopping Centre is a nightmare.

It was a great place to stay although a warning when planning a trip for those on blood thinning medication, please factor in the altitude may have an effect on you!! It did for me with breathing and pressure on my body, although each person is unique and may be affected in different ways. You might not have any problems, just be aware of the possibility.
Beautiful views, great walking track around the lake and lovely sights of Thredbo and Perisher not far away.

It was a very scenic place. Good place for ski hire.
It was a very scenic place. Good place for ski hire. The only let down was the restaurants. They were too expensive like $28 for 10 pieces of pasta with only pasta. The Japanese restaurant need a booking to enter.
The hotel was easy to find... a little off the main highway into Jindabyne. The rooms booked by us were huge with a small patio to sit out facing the lake. On the first night, we were the only guests in the hotel which would have been a bit scary if we weren't travelling with family. The complimentary breakfast was adequate with a choice of cereals, bread, juice, yoghurt etc. The restaurant was shut for other meals during our stay so cannot comment on the service or quality of food
Very clean room with generous amounts of in room coffee / tea making, Easy use air conditioner, Instant hot shower water, Excellent restaurant food...Breakfast and Dinner so good 10/10 ! Generous space for off street parking, Great ski drying / storage amenities, Very easy access to town centre. Staff are fantastic, Best deal in Jindabyne. Have stayed here before and highly recommend. My daughter also loved the maneuverable TV bracket ...
Staff were all lovely, included breakfast was good hot and continental. Location was also good. Room was tiny for a family of 4 and feel it was overpriced for what we got. When we booked there weren’t many option left in town, but as snow is disappearing, looks like others had cancelled as looks like we could have stayed elsewhere much cheaper for similar or better accomodation but hadn’t thought to check until it was too late to cancel.
A wonderful place with lovely owners. They made us feel like family.
The hotel has incredible views of the valley and Jindabyne lake. The moon rising behind the trees while enjoying the warmth of the fire in the park...
The large main room also with its fireplace and comfortable armchairs to taste a good wine...
Natalie, the owner, is also a very good cook, we enjoyed a lot her food.
We decided to extend our stay in Jindabyne at the last moment and managed to book this loft. The location is fantastic, right across from the shopping center. The hotel's design is beautiful – whether it's the lobby or the rooms, we liked it at first sight. The room itself is also quite spacious, suitable for a large family.
Modern pleasant space. Cosy and comfy. Nice bed and pillows. All the amenities you need plus parking. Ive tried multiple hotels and motels in Jindy over the last few years and this is quite easily the best place I've stayed, even if its a bit further away from the town centre.
Great little motel which is ideally located in Jindabyne. Only a 30 minute drive to Perisher during the weekday.
Beds were clean and comfortable, shower had great heat and pressure. Drying room was perfect for skiing. Staff were friendly and accomodating.
If you didn't mind driving 15 minutes to Jindabyne to get food, or the dirt road leading to the property, or getting mud into your car from the muddy car park spaces, or lack of any staff onsite, the actual room was fairly clean.
Check in was pretty easy, no one was at the hotel anymore once we arrived, so we were just sent a text message with a code to unlock a keysafe. The room was alright, nothing special.
Very good heating and great amenities, lovely view from the small balcony, quiet location, beautiful park nearby, close to everything in Jindabyne town centre, hosts super friendly
Excellent location - quick trip into Jindabyne and to either of the main ski resorts.
Great cafe attached to the park
Good size cabin, well heated and appointed
