For the price in the middle of June you cannot knock it also although it's a 600+ room hotel no noise or disturbance throughout my stay.

The bed was very comfortable with a choice of pillows. Bathroom was accessible with walk in shower (important as a Visually Impaired person). We were greeted very cheerfully by the doorman Jack who helped with our luggage and made us feel very welcome as did the rest of the staff we encountered during our stay. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Dinner meals were also enjoyed.

Liverpool is an extremely exciting city. It has a rich culture and social history which one can learn about in the fantastic museums near Albert Dock, and also via interesting walks throughout the whole city. There are numerous bars with live music, and it's also a shoppers' paradise. Naturally it's the best place for music and the Beatles, and also for quality football.

Brilliant city.
Brilliant city. As a Londoner, I view every other in comparison to that, but this is up there ! Loads of music and nautical history, and fantastic atmosphere, especially around Mathew St, which is where I was staying. I love that there are about 5 pubs within 50 yards, all having live music every night 👍🏼
This was my second visit, and I intend to make a third this year ! 🤣

Plenty to do both near and further afield if you want.
Plenty to do both near and further afield if you want. The usual crackheads around like in any town/city, but they weren't too in you face. There are plenty of good pubs/eating establishments that you should try or check out yourself, as only you know your preferences, but every taste is catered for.

Liverpool is a lovely city with plenty of attractions,...
Liverpool is a lovely city with plenty of attractions, particularly if you enjoy the Beatles, art and rock music. This time around the Ferry trip was great, as was Mathew Street and the Jacaranda Club. We have visited the city before when we did the Magical Mystery Tour, the Tate, and the Bluecoat, amongst other things. However, there are still plenty of things to do on future visits, including Liverpool Museum, the Walker Gallery and the Museum of Popular Music.

Wonderful! Happy shoppers with no problems.
Wonderful! Happy shoppers with no problems. Multicultural place which made you feel welcomed. No steering eyes. No name calling. Pleasant shop assistance. I wasn't on my guard as a Black person made to feel unwelcomed. It was a lovely pleasant stay.
Having to travel all over the North of England for work, this is by far my favourite hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, professional and more than happy to assist with any queries. The hotel is presented beautifully in an industrial chic design to reflect its history, presumably as an old tobacco mill or similar. The rooms are absolutely enormous with ample facilities and a superb level of comfort & cleanliness. Will absolutely return as and when opportunity arises.
Firstly I would like to mention the staff at breakfast, we have never stayed at a hotel anywhere in England where the staff were so friendly and attentive. We honestly felt like family.
Now the breakfast.. I'm not a lover of full English but decided to try it out and so glad I did!! It was fresh, tasty, absolutely perfect. I did say I wouldn’t have it again the next morning but couldn’t resist it when I saw all the other guests eating. The best full English in Liverpool and afar!!
We recently stayed at The Resident Liverpool and had a fantastic stay. The location was ideal for everything we had planned, with the city centre and the docks just a short walk away. We booked a small double and were pleasantly surprised by the size and amenities this room came with. The kitchenette was a brilliant element as it allowed us to store and prepare our own food during the stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone else visiting Liverpool.
Best thing about the hotel was the 2 (bald/balding) men on the front desk & the guy behind the bar! (Sorry I forgot their names) They were very helpful staff (first time in Liverpool and they helped us with things to do near or around the city centre, best places to eat etc) one of the guys from the front desk helped direct us to where the best parking was and the other guy at Reception was a great laugh and had good banter
The hotel is in a great location to access Liverpool city centre. It's near the docks, Beatles Museum, Maritime Museum and others, while only a short walk to the central shops, bars and restaurants. The staff were really friendly and the room was lovely and clean and quiet.
The facilities and decoration are just top-notch. On top of that, the view is just the best you can have in Liverpool. The staffs are just absolutely lovely. The food might be a bit overpriced but very nice. All in all, one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.
Great location
Friendly, helpful staff
Rooms clean and comfortable
Free parking for the duration of your stay
Nice view overlooking the docks
Within easy walking distance of Albert Docks, Liverpool One and Baltic Triangle
A budget hotel at its best
Third time staying at this hotel and for good reason, always the best stay. Great staff, warm and comfortable rooms. The breakfast downstairs, or served in room, is top. Location pretty much perfect for Liverpool City centre. Always a shame to leave.
Hotel is in a great location for accessing Liverpool City Centre. Hotel staff were very helpful and gave us some local recommendations on places to visit. The room was comfortable and clean. Views over the docks were an added bonus.
Fairly close to the city centre,
Very simply and quick to walk.
Friendly staff.
Though it may not the greatest from outside the rooms are actually very nice for a 3 Star hotel, very clean and beds very comfortable
Breakfast was taken at the Toby just across the way. Nice and cheap! Hotels in the City Centre were booked up but this was conveniently positioned and in a fairly quiet location within easy reach of the city.
Shower was our favourite part with a stunning view of the docks & Liverpool. Staff were friendly and very helpful would recommend to all. Best value for money on a hotel I've ever spent felt 5 stars
Very nice hotel in a great location - only a few minutes' walk from Matthew Street, Albert Docks and the city centre.
It was a very large and comfortable room with a large bathroom.
The best new 5* hotel in Liverpool. The bar area is crazily nice, as is the rest of the hotel. The room was furnished to a very high standard. Can't fault it.
